Grey is moving on, but the mission is going strong!

The Mission Continues

What can I say? We're #1! We have #MoreGreenBuildings! We have more members, more sponsors, more volunteers and more engagement across the spectrum. It has been an honor to work for this community of practitioners who share my passion to transform the building industry. I have only been a steward, standing on the shoulders of giants, helping cultivate the next generation of green building leaders in our organization's purview. I am happy for the opportunity to serve and looking forward to coming out as a volunteer to help with programs and advocacy. I know we will meet again.

I hope you are able to come to some of the great things we have planned this month! Check out the service project in JP, the gender bias program, or the tour of the MLK School. Definitely plan on being at the Green Building Showcase on 6/15! That is going to be awesome.

It's time to show off the Showcase!

What are you doing on the evening of June 15th?

We know where we're gong to be - and that's at the majorly-impressive Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex at Northeastern Universe for our annual Green Building Showcase! This design by Payette is a shining example of how gorgeous yet functional a building can be, and we're all so excited to have our biggest event of the year there.

The Green Building Showcase is our premier event on the Road to Greenbuild, celebrating the achievements and strides made to develop #MoreGreenBuildings in Massachusetts. We want to highlight every design from the last year, and there are plenty of ways you can get involved.

Last week, Gerding Edlen took us on a tour of their amazing apartment complex, The Eddy in East Boston, to see how they combine efficiency, sustainability, and comfort. It was a ton of fun. We'll be back!
