The STC 2011 Appreciation Party was held at Seasons Place, STC Center. The evening's theme was "coming home", where attendees enjoyed delicious Taiwanese night market delicacies, wonderful performances and the relaxed atmosphere of family gatherings.

The night's entertainment opened with an exciting Flash Mob and the remaining night was continued by various performance by members of STC Management, Dance Impression Productions, and the Institute of Chinese Martial Arts.  The night was finally concluded with a Karaoke contest where each guest was encouraged to participate.

期待已久的STC 2011感恩晚會如期在四季廣場STC Center東區第一會館舉行。今年晚會的主題是"回家"。當晚，STC資產管理邀請了房東們、房客們、服務供應商們，以及我們其他的好朋友們歡聚一堂，感謝他們這一年來對我們工作的支持。同時，感恩晚會也是向STC辛勤工作了一年的各位成員表達謝意的活動。對於STC資產管理而言，不論是我們的成員還是客戶，都是STC大家庭的一員，大家共同努力幫助STC的成長。

以一支引爆全場的"快閃"開場，STC的員工、舞印舞蹈中心的成員、以及中華武術學校的師生為來賓獻上了精彩紛呈的表演，之後更有卡拉OK大賽吸引了來賓的參與。核桃市前市長、市議會成員Mary Su也親臨現場，贊許了STC資產管理對社區做出的貢獻，并代表加州眾議員Curt Hagman為舞印舞蹈中心的舞者們頒發獎狀，表彰他們在文化交流上取得的成果。

2011年十二月九號這一天，我跟經理Benjamin Chen到West Covina的購物中心作場地檢視。

當天早上停車場沒有什麼車，我們打算把賣場完整地繞一圈。當我們繞道角落的一間未租出去的店面時，就在店門口，我踩到了一個很大的釘子。當場錯愕的我，一邊忍著痛一邊立刻把鞋襪都脫下.，釘子就在我踩下去的那一剎那，硬生生的刺穿了我的鞋底並且扎進了我的右腳底。襪底當時早已沾了許多血。

看著那枚鏽跡斑斑的釘子，我又痛又緊張，腦中閃過破傷風的嚴重後果，完全不知所措。可是站在我旁邊的經理Benjamin卻始終保持鎮定。受過嚴格軍事訓練的他有十分豐富的戶外經驗，並且總是能夠處變不驚地應對突發事件。他爲了避免我的血液受到病菌感染，立刻蹲下幫我把髒血吸出。然後他又跑到CVS幫我買了消毒繃帶，讓我可以先把傷口暫時包紮起來，隨即帶我到鄰近的緊急醫療中心去打破傷風疫苗。經過了醫生的妥善處理，一瘸一拐的我由Ben陪著回到了公司。

公司里其他同事們的關心讓我很感動，但這件事中最為讓我感慨的還是經理當時如同對待自己兒子般毫無顧忌的傾力幫助。我深深覺得自己很幸運可以遇到像他這樣充滿愛心和智慧的經理。

I was having a project site inspection at the Quail Ridge shopping center in the city of West Covina in California with my manager Benjamin Chen on December 9, 2011.

There were not many cars in the morning as we walked the property thoroughly.  When we arrived at the front of a vacant unit in the corner, I stepped on a big nail, all of a sudden; I was shocked and took off my shoes immediately.  The nail was punched through my shoes and to my right bottom of foot.  My foot was bleeding and pain; I was quite nervous. 

A feeling of horror flashed through my mind when I looked at my foot and blood.  With strict military training and extensive outdoor experience, my manager is able to response to emergencies. At that moment my manager was so calm and helped me to clean the wound with his mouth. Then he ran to a nearby CVS pharmacy to buy sterilized bandage to cover my wound. After that, he drove me to the closest urgent care to have a tetanus shot and helped me limp back to office. 

I was so touched by my manager's care, and I felt he treated me like his son not just a co-worker. It's hard find a manager like him who can help me the way he did in this kind of accident. I really appreciated his loving heart and wise behaviors to me.
