Neal Polan - Featured Speaker

| Neal Polan |
Changing the Political Spin
Our guest speaker, Neal Polan, drove out from New York to California in 1979. In 1984 he turned his hobby & passion of classic car restoration, into a business. He lived the American dream by starting this business out of his house with only $3,000; and 30 years later it has grown into a sprawling 14,000 sq. ft. full restoration shop in Torrance, Ca.
Neal has now taken his entrepreneurship and love of America to "the people". He and his wife, Linda, are helping to change the "Political Spin" in this country through grass roots education by utilizing well thought-out successfully proven techniques, and also through their two social mixers: "Remembering the Declaration Signers" and "Dinner Time with the Constitution & Singers". Neal has been on the Dennis Prager show multiple times and has inspired and helped Dennis develop the "4th of July Declaration" ceremony that is featured across the nation each July 4th. Dennis also endorses these social mixer theme kits and Neal's second company called Celebrate Our Country, Inc.
Neal has spoken at multiple Republican Women's Clubs, the Lincoln Club, the South Bay and Palos Verdes Republican Clubs and the Hancock Park Tea Party. His talks have been well accepted and he has now been recommended to be listed on the Speaker Series for CA Federation of Republican Women.
Neal heads the South Bay Prager listener group with over 100 members and has also organized a weekly group meeting called "Celebrate Sunday's" in his home to watch and actively discuss the Constitution Classes put on by Hillsdale College.
You will learn fun & exciting ways, on how to make a Conservative impact on your fellow citizens in your daily life. You will come away empowered, knowing that there is something you can do to help get our country back on track. Come join us in learning how to "Change the Political Spin". |
Precinct Volunteer Coordinator | | Seeking Volunteer for this Position
We are often asked by local candidates to provide volunteers to assist their campaigns. In the past we have had a Precinct Volunteer Coordinator who was in charge of the activity. If any of you would like to help out our local San Fernando Valley candidates by organizing volunteers and assigning them to various local campaigns we would appreciate it.
This is an important critical position for election victories in the SFV. It isn't complicated, and we can train you in an hour or two. Please send me an email at aminoff@sfvrc.org if you are willing to take on the position of Precinct Volunteer Coordinator for SFVRC. Thank you. |

Dine and Donate at Fatburger | | Panorama Fatburger is offering an opportunity to help SFVRC
As you know the Panorama City Fatburger is owned by two Republicans, Julie Nguyen and John Quintanilla. They are offering an opportunity for SFVRC members to eat at Fatburger. It is only two blocks from where we meet at Galpin Ford, so it is easy to go there before or after our meeting, but the offer applies anytime.
Go eat at Panorama City Fatburger, 8261 Sepulveda Blvd (at the corner of Roscoe) Panorama City, 91402. The phone number there is (818)894-7888. Keep your receipt and bring it to me or to Karen Klaparda, our secretary. We can then turn the receipts in to Fatburger and they will donate 15% of the receipts to SFVRC. It is a great way to help the club by having Fatburger donate a percentage of your bill, but it also helps a local business run by Republicans. |
Republican Business Directory | | Do Business with fellow Republicans
We now have our Republican Business Directory up and functioning.
and click on the "Local Directory" tab. On the left side of the page you will find classifications of businesses. Click on a classification and it will give you a list of Republicans in that classification.
We are encouraging all of our members to patronize the businesses of our fellow members and Republicans. If you need goods and services, why not have them provided by your fellow Republicans?
For those of you who would like to have your business listed in our business directory, please send an email to: BUSINESS@SFVRC.ORG.
Provide your name, the name and street address of your business, your business phone number, your business web site address, and your email address. Also provide a description of the services you provide or the type of goods you sell. |
SFVRC Calendar of Events
| | Active Calendar of Republican and Club Events
We have set up a Google Calendar on our club web site. The calendar is regularly maintained and includes not only events of SFVRC but many other Republican events in the area. Organizations wanting their information included, please send the info to me by email.
To access the calendar, go to http://www.sfvrc.org and click on "Calendar" on the menu, or go to: http://www.sfvrc.org/calendar.html
The calendar is in monthly mode by default, but you can click on "week" to see the calendar by the week. If you click on any event it will open up and give you details. The calendar can also be printed.
There are several events occurring during the next few weeks. Be sure and check the calendar to find out when and where.
