THE NINE MOVEMENTS OF TAI CHI EASY
AND TEN PHASES OF QI CULTIVATION
AND INTRODUCTION INTO PRIMORDIAL QIGONG

These classes  will focus on simple practices to restore and nurture a healthy balance throughout the body, enhance vitality, strengthen and calm the nervous system, still the mind and rejuvenate the mind and body.

"Before the world was, before the multitude of things, the primordial universe was a vast undifferentiated ocean of potential - a boundless "no thing" known as Wuji.  This eternal cosmos, the origin of all events, beings and things, is infused with a subtle, pervasive, invisible resource - Qi.  Emptiness and material were born and permeated with the ever-present Qi.  First, in its becoming there were cosmic gases, stars, and planet.   Much later came the living beings."   [Dr. Chang Yi Hsiang]

"Golden Elixir Qigong, known in China as Wuji Gong, is also translated as Primordial Qigong. Golden Elixir Qigong methods are the ultimate in the realm of Qigong methods and practices, with historic roots in ancient Daoism and Chinese shamanism. Primordial Qigong is revered in the sacred Wudang Mountains of China as the Mother of Tai Chi." [Dr. Roger Jahnke]

Tai Chi Easy is carefully developed method and approach to Tai Chi that makes it easy, beneficial and fun from the very beginning.  The student does not have to devote years to learning the traditional 108 movement form or even the shortened (24,36,42)  form to enjoy the calming emotional and health benefits of Tai Chi.

Primordial Qigong methods are the ultimate in the realm of Qigong methods and practices with historic roots in ancient Daoism.  It is revered in the sacred Wudang Mountains of China as the Mother of Tai
he ultimate purpose of this practice is to realize ONEness with the Tao. We will take a look at some of these teachings and practices.

A BEAUTIFUL ARTICLE BY KATHLEEN PRASAD

Recognizing Real Reiki

As a Reiki teacher, I often get asked the question, "So what is Reiki anyway? And how do you know it's real?" Depending on how you look at it, this question could have a simple or a
 complex answer.

A complex answer could have us debating over the nature of what "is" energy, or what studies have been done about the benefits of hands-on healing, or how do we perform distant healing, or how exactly is energy transferred from one being to another, or even how can we scientifically measure the energy field and so on. This debate could then lead to a complicated philosophical discussion about the nature of healing. Does Reiki really heal? And how do we measure that?

Well, as an animal lover who would rather spend quiet time meditating in the pasture with my horse than lively discussion of such things with a group of people, I prefer simple.  So how would I answer in simple terms? Follow the love; follow the compassion, and you will find what's real: you'll find Reiki.

Yes, the real value, purpose and measure of Reiki all come down to love and compassion. Reiki is love. Reiki is compassion. What does this mean in practice? Here are some simple questions to ask yourself, and if you find love and compassion in your answers, then you are on the right track to uncovering the essence of real Reiki practice.
