Law enforcement organization supports BLET

The Edgecombe County Law Enforcement Association has presented the ECC Foundation with a generous donation of nearly $30,000. The gift will support scholarships for qualified students enrolled in Basic Law Enforcement Training at the College. Read full story
College trustee named to state association board
Gloria Wiggins-Hicks
Gloria Wiggins-Hicks, a member of the Board of Trustees at ECC, has been named to the Executive Board of the North Carolina Association of Community College Trustees (NCACCT).

She is retired community relations manager of Cummins Rocky Mount Engine Plant.

The NCACCT was founded in 1967 to provide NC community college trustees an organization to further the aims, goals, and development of the state's community colleges.
Tackle the Tar presents $17,000 to ECC
Rocky Mount Rotary Club_ Tackle the Tar_ and ECC
ECC has received $17,000 from Tackle the Tar, a 5K obstacle course race and family fun day sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rocky Mount. Proceeds from the annual event support scholarships for local students attending Edgecombe and Nash community colleges and NC Wesleyan College.
