Women's Preventive Health Coverage begins on August 1st!

What does this all mean for Latinas and our families?

Dear :

Thanks to the passing of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), significant changes will start on August 1st for women's access to healthcare and preventative services, especially for Latinas. With so much information available, it can be difficult to decipher what it all really means in your daily life. Let us help you make sense of it all!

Join us this Thursday, July 26 at 12pm PST/3 pm EST for a tweet chat titled "What's in it for Latinas?" We will discuss the Affordable Care Act and how it directly affects Latinas and all women around the country. CLRJ is co-hosting this chat with Raising Women's Voices and Voto Latino, and will be part of the "What's In It For Women?" week of events continuing through August 1st. Use the hashtag #ACALatinas to ask our policy experts questions about implementation, coverage and more; and follow along to get facts about Latinas and healthcare, HIV/AIDS and other reproductive justice issues.

In the meantime, make sure to follow us on Twitter: @Latinas4RJ and our partners, Raising Women's Voices (@RWV4HealthCare ) and VotoLatino (@VotoLatino ).

For Health & Justice,
