Some Like It Sweet

Featuring: Stephane Treand, MOF of ST Patisserie Chocolat, and 
Nancy Milby, DWS, of LCA Wine

 

Join us for a unique evening of sweets, and learn that not all desserts or dessert wines are created equal! Stephane Treand, world pastry champion and our newest SOCO neighbor will team up with Nancy Milby, DWS and certified sommelier, for a fun primer on how to pair sweet wines with desserts. Stephane will bring a sumptuous selection of his signature sweets, from fruit tarts to chocolate truffles, demonstrate the key principles of making each and show you how he finishes his beautiful creations to match the season. Nancy will pair each of his fabulous sweets with a special sweet wine.  The class will include tasting of 6 different desserts paired with 6 different wines.
