"A Holy Week"

Dear Members & Friends of Our Savior's Lutheran Church,
We are in the midst of the holiest of weeks in our Christian faith and tradition.

I encourage you to reflect on the last days of Christ this week as you are able. Take time in quiet to read the passion story again and consider its impact on your life. This Maundy Thursday we have two worship opportunities at 11:30 am and 7:00 pm. At these services, following holy communion, you will hear the reassuring words again, "Through this gift of love you are forgiven all your sins." We'll conclude the evening service by stripping the altar bare in preparation for Christ's funeral on Good Friday at 7:00 pm.
This Holy Week concludes on Sunday with shouts of "Alleluia!" and "He is risen!" as we celebrate the victory that Christ's resurrection had over sin, death, and the devil. We are free today because of what happened this holiest of weeks so many years ago.
I pray for you this week as you consider what it means in your life and I look forward to celebrating with many of you on Sunday.
