Julie Winkler's Presidential Plenary on Geographies of Climate Change
The Presidential Plenary, which opens the AAG Annual Meeting, will focus on the "Geographies of Climate Change" theme. Featured speakers will include AAG President Julie Winkler; Mike Hulme, author of "Why We Disagree about Climate Change;" Linda Mearns, project leader of the North American Regional Climate Change Assessment Program; Susanne Moser, co-author of the recently-published "Successful Adaptation to Climate Change," and J. Advance registration is still open and there is still time to join your friends and colleagues at the AAG Awards Luncheon. Honorees will receive their awards and commendations during the special luncheon on April 12. Notable awards to be presented include the AAG Honors, Enhancing Diversity Awards, Specialty Group Awards, 50 Year Members, and many more. Individual seats are only $55, or purchase a table for ten guests for $495.
