Americas Top Dog Model ®
2018 contest "Hollywood Paws" has ended! It was a very, exciting, competition!
America's Top Dog Model ® 2018 winner and finalists were selected for their creative ideas, heartfelt stories, training, best portrayal of "Hollywood Paws," and how they make a difference in people's lives, which is our contest mission.
America's Top Dog Model ® national contest winner is Marvelous Missie, a magnificent, 1 1/2-year-old Boston Terrier from
Mendota, Illinois. Here is her story:
Hi, I'm Missie!
My Mom calls me Marvelous Missie and tells me every day that I'm a Very Special Little Girl and have Big Paws to fill.
I Love my Mom. The first time I saw her, I was at a shelter in Tennessee. I looked up and there she was. She picked me up, started crying and hugging me. I could feel her love.
We had a long ride back to Illinois, and when we arrived home, I was lovingly greeted by canine brothers and sisters, plus a new "human" Dad. I never got to meet my real Dad...my Mom was a Boston Terrier and I was told my Dad was a travelin' man (whatever that means?).
I started school right away and graduated with my AKC Canine Good Citizen Award along with the Advanced and Urban Awards before I was a year old. Mom is pleased with my early accomplishments.
Mom knows how important it is to give back to the community, so I've started participating at the Starved Rock Kennel Club PAWS for Reading Program and I also visit the residents at the Mendota Heritage Health Retirement Home.
Mom often dresses me in beautiful designer clothes and she takes me places where I get pictures taken. The best pictures are entered in contests. She's SO happy when I win. There are also times I walk on a stage, it's called a runway, but there aren't any planes.
I think I hit the Doggy Lottery, although Mom says she's been blessed twice and I'm her New Shining Star. Together, I know my Mom and I will do many wonderful things! She makes me believe I'm destined for stardom and possibly even the Bright Lights of Hollywood.
Wherever we go and whatever we do I'm ready to make her proud and fill those Big Paws.
Missie will be featured on the cover and represent the month of April in America's Top Dog Model ® 2020 calendar. In addition, she will receive the following fabulous, prizes:
Our eleven Finalists will be featured in America's Top Dog Model ® Calendar and website along with Missie. They will also receive an autographed copy of

When Fifi was confiscated from a backyard breeders home seven years ago, she had no chance of being adopted, as people were fearful of how she looked. She was then rescued by Limbo Chihuahuas, and this is where she was adopted by her mom Lynne who took her home to Wesley Chapel, Florida. Fifi's new lifestyle is filled with lots of love, pretty dresses and an array of bling. When the dresses come out, Fifi dances and prances. Dressing up means she is going somewhere. She also loves attention and she is a "true natural" in front of the camera as well as the spotlight. Fifi has walked the red carpets and runways from Miami to Naples to St. Petersburg, Florida helping to raise funds for charities. She is Ambassador for Chihuahua of the Tampa Bay Area meetup group, where she helps to socialize other dogs and their humans. Fifi was the bride at a recent charity event, where over $15,000 was raised to support local charities. Keep an eye on this rising STAR!
