Happy first day of fall!

The fading of summer, with its rich colors and themes of change has provided the inspiration for our Fall into Fashion issue. Who doesn't love fashionable canvases, splashed with maroons, umbers, plum, oranges and siennas? In this issue, you will discover the "hottest" designer fashions modeled by top dogs selected from America's Top Dog Model Facebook Casting Call this week as well as our guest models. They will definitely give you something to talk about!

It has been a long stressful summer for those of us living in the South. I want to take a moment to express my deepest sympathies to everyone who lives and property were impacted by the destruction by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. It is a long road ahead for many. Hopefully fall will be a kinder season. Again, my heart and prayers go out to all who have suffered due to the hurricanes.

Luxe Up your Life

Clothes are the centerpiece, but the accessories that punctuate help create an ensemble that expresses one's personal style.

As Coco Chanel once said "Fashion changes, but style endures."

When it comes to accessories, "Hats are a hallmark of the fall season" according to Marie Claire. The pillbox is among the 14 hats that are featured in their fall hat trend report.

In this photo, Romeo models America's Top Dog Model signature pillbox hat with a bill, perfect for boys. Our classic pillbox hat comes without a bill.

Katie, one of our casting call models, certainly knows how to get noticed. This cute 10-year-old long haired Dachshund is channeling her inner Jackie O, wearing a stunning, harness and pillbox hat from the Camelot Collection by the super talented Sandra Barnes of Chick a Bow Wow.

Transition your wardrobe into cooler weather with a fashionable, shawl, wrap, or scarf. The bigger the better. Adar, America's Top Dog Model 2016 Contest finalist (Mr. November 2018), is stylishly wrapped in BCBG Max Azria.

"Sugar Skulls are very in right now" according to America's favorite hat designer Susan Howard of Hayley's Hats. The bright colors and feathers are perfect for the season.

Fall into Fashion Models

Six fabulous top dog models were selected during America's Top Dog Model Facebook Casting Call this week: Penelope, Fifi, Cooper, Peaches, Katie, and Adar. Our guest accessories models include Romeo, Hayley, and Lily.

First, meet our cover dog Penelope.

Asha Vereen sent this lovely photo of her Penelope, the sister of Lola, America's Top Dog Model ® "Meet the Paw-litician" 2016 contest finalist and Ms. May 2018. Soon after Penelope was adopted, she got very sick. After spending a few days in ICU, Penelope was diagnosed with a liver shunt. Asha did fund raising by taking photos and posting updates about Penelope. "After her surgery, I continued posting photos to show my appreciation to all who helped save Penelope. She is now 4 years old and I'm so lucky to have her," stated Asha.

Penelope is wearing a fabulous, fall gown by Furry Fashionista.

Meet blushing bride to be Fifi. She is scheduled to wed handsome, Dapper on November 12, 2017, which is predicted to be " wedding of the century." All in the name of love and charity! See Top Dog Events.
