Are YOU Ready!!?? 11/9/16
Luke 12:40 (KJV)
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
As I WEARILY type today's sermon, I am reminded of an ancient tune by my ALL-TIME FAVORITE BAND-THE BEATLES:
"
YOU'VE GOT TO HIDE YOUR LOVE AWAY!"
In particular, just one phrase stands out to me:
"
HERE I STAND HEAD IN HEAD-TURN MY FACE TO THE WALL."
I made it until 1 AM last night and went to bed with the electoral count of 254 FOR President Elect Donald J. Trump.
I must admit I "never saw it coming!!!"
Most of US "NEVER saw it coming!!!"
Oh, there will be few hearty souls today crowing that they saw it, but few indeed did!!
DONALD J. TRUMP-PRESIDENT ELECT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!
As I watched, in amazement, the tally of state after state, I also observed the puzzled and yes, even SHOCKED faces of the political talking heads!''
The particular channel I was watching was a CONSERVATIVE leaning channel and even though their preferred candidate was winning, they were astonished!
I "heard" the Voice of my Savior whisper softly to me:

God said to me, "My son, this is what this world will look like when I SUDDENLY appear!!!!"

AT AN HOUR WHEN YE THINK NOT!!!"
Every American citizen and voted well knew that when today, Nov. 9 was born, 50% would be ecstatic and 50% dejected!!
Beloved, I TRY to be APOLITICAL on here!!!!
I well know that you can be a Democratic and/or a Republican/Libertarian/Independent or whatever CHRISTIAN!!
As mama used to say, "Opinions are like belly buttons-EVERYONE HAS ONE!!"
TODAY IS A HISTORIC DAY!!!
NOBODY SAW IT COMING!!
I spent the morning hours watching the speeches of the winner, vanquished, and also from our current President.
The BEAUTIFUL PEACEFUL transference of power unfolds before our very eyes.
I listened intently to Sec. Clinton as she spoke of "winning and losing," the NECESSITY of accepting defeats, "dusting oneself off and returning to the fight AGAIN and AGAIN!"
I LOVE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!
I THANK GOD for the 65 years of FREEDOM and PROSPERITY I have enjoyed!!!
TODAY, whether your candidate or candidates won or lost:
1 Timothy 2:1-3 (KJV)
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
After all is said or done today, this TRUTH still hold TRUE:
Proverbs 29:2 (KJV)
2 When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.
BELOVED, JESUS IS COMING ALSO!!
AND just like last night, it may be in the wee hours of the morning-when least expected!!
WHEN NOBODY SAW IT/HIM COMING!!!
Matthew 24:37-44
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
