Planning for the Journey's End

SATURDAYS MARCH 18 & 25
10:00 AM & 2:00 PM
Over the past few years both Daniel Budd and Patricia Shelden have been approached by members of First Church asking for guidance and information regarding planning for the end of life and wondering what our Unitarian Universalist faith has to offer. To that end, we are offering a two-part workshop, "PLANNING FOR THE JOURNEY'S END."

Bring your own lunch or snack; beverages and dessert will be provided.  To register, please contact the church office.  (Please note: these workshops are pastoral in nature and differ from the important work of our Heritage Committee.)

Registration for the class "Near the Journey's End", taught by the Rev. Daniel Budd and the Rev. Patricia Shelden, was only a few people short of going as planned beginning Saturday, March 14. In order to give more people a chance to register and attend the two Saturday classes the dates have been changed to April 18 and April 25. Registrations will be accepted until April 7th. Please call the church office to register. More information about "Near the Journey's End" was available in the March newsletter and will also be in the April Newsletter.

BAKER ROOM

The exploration of our spiritual nature continues this Wednesday. We will enhance our understanding of ourselves, our relationships to others and to the universe on a deeper, more profound level. Spiritual Conversations examine questions at the center of our lives: what does it mean to be human, how can we live a rich life, what deepens our appreciation of the magnitude and mystery of life?

Everyone is welcome!

Adult Religious Education Survey
COMING SOON

Faith Development is a lifelong process of learning, discovering, and refining our understanding of Unitarian Universalism and how it informs our engagement with the world. It provides an opportunity to connect and learn from each other and discover individually meaningful "answers" to the vexing questions we all face. Before the Adult Religious Education Committee develops programs for the Fall 2015, we would like to gather more information from you so that we might better meet your needs and interests. A questionnaire will be coming out shortly for this purpose.  We would greatly appreciate your input.
