This workshop will dive deeply into the practices of pranayama (breath exercises), energy locks (bandhas), and intentional gazing points (drishtis).
we breathe (ujjayi breath) is the powerhouse for all forms of dynamic yoga, and the
essence of vinyasa yoga lies in the connection between breath and movement. Tricky
transitions, inversions, and the elusive "floating" and flying movements of yoga are
all made possible when we learn how to activate energy locks, or bandhas, deep
within our bodies. And finally, drishtis, or gazing points, cultivate focus,
concentration, and balance in asana practice.
