Sunday school

Sunday school is normal this week. 9:30 A.M.

The middle school class will be starting a new curriculum this Sunday called Echo. For the next 36 times they meet they will be learning about the story of the Bible from beginning to end through video, discussion, reading scripture and connecting it to their lives. They will be bringing home things they can do at home to learn more. Please encourage them to do these activities. Maybe your family can do them together. It's important that the kids are on time for class as there is a lot to cover in an hour. Austin will still be leading them in this new adventure.

HS students can check out the Covenant Youth Facebook page for the last HS class video if they missed it. It's on the book of Colossians. This week we watch and discuss the video on 1 Thessalonians.
No Confirmation Class this week.
Chili Cook-Off

February 4th is coming up too quickly and I don't have anyone to help with this event so we will not be having it unless someone feels moved to help with it. We might look at doing something in the next couple of months. The proceeds usually go to youth missions.
Mark Your Calendars!

Winter Jam 2018 is Thursday, February 8th.
We are joining Good Shepherd UMC in a box this year! No more standing outside in line in the freezing, cold weather! Box Tickets are $20. I need RSVP's as soon as possible. If they want to go but be picked up early since it will be a late night, I can help with that. Parents are welcome to attend too. We usually get back to the church around 11:00pm. The line up has something for everyone. Hard rock, light rock, contemporary worship, rap and a comedian. I have gone for years and it's always an uplifting night. Here is the link to who is performing. Let me know if you want me to reserve you a ticket.

It's good to remember these things as you try to explain God to your teen.
Summer Schedule
June 24-29 High school Camp That Thing (Can you let me know if you plan attending? We are trying to see how many tickets we need.) Here is a video to show you what the camp is like.

More dates to come...
