Quilting and Sewing Newsletter
September 18th , 2017
Corrected Copy - we still have a bit of "Hurricane Brain".... a few mistakes were pointed out.

OK, deep breath.  I am so glad to hear the many stories from our customers that all fared OK or better in Hurricane Irma.  If you followed Facebook - you know we rode the storm out at Sew Central.  We were ready - had the whole store wrapped and secure for any water, but everything held and we stayed safe and dry.

There was a lot of debate on where the safest place to be was during Hurricane Irma, but if you were a sewing machine - it was Sew Central!

Time to get back to sewing and quilting.

And YES - we are open regular hours.  We re-opened our doors on Wednesday, even before we had water and internet.  Be sure to get out and support your local small businesses.  It is so important to the business to be able to get started again.

Florida Row by Row Experience is over - but we still do not have a winner at the store.  We can still get a winner at Sew Central until November 1st,  so if you have finished a 2017 RxR Quilt, bring it by!

Don't miss signing up for the Floral Menagerie Block of the Month, which will be six months long starting October 2017. See the details below.

Wanted to repeat this note:
Hey - want to get started in Machine Embroidery
- or have a large hoop project that your machine can't quite handle?  Sew Central is starting an exclusive  Embroidery Machine Rental Program!   Similar to long-arm rental programs, this will allow you to rent a top of the line  Husqvarna Viking EPIC for in-store use.  You will need to take a $45.00 instruction class, and then you will be able to rent a machine in the store for a reasonable charge which will include use of our thread.  A half day period will be blocked off, but you only pay by the hour. And - of course - you will have our expert staff for consultation if needed.  This is a new program for Sew Central. Final details are being completed, but call if interested.

See you at Sew Central!  Ellen
