HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING IN NYC?
- I was born in NYC, and my professional career as a NY State Licensed Veterinary Technician began at The Animal Medical Center over 15 years ago.
WHAT'S YOUR CURRENT FAVORITE
NEIGHBORHOOD AND WHY?
-I would have to say Tribeca is my favorite because of the tight knit pet community. In 2003, I was offered a position as the head, overnight, emergency Veterinary Technician in Tribeca, and spent several years getting to know pet parents in the neighborhood which led to starting our small business.
HOW AND WHEN DID TRIBECA PET SERVICES GET ITS START?

Tribeca Pet Services was created in 2008. It stemmed from my work as a veterinary technician, and from personal passion. Both veterinarians and pet parents in Tribeca began requesting my services.
DESCRIBE YOUR COMPANY'S IDEOLOGY.
- Tribeca Pet Services is constantly striving to demonstrate, daily, our respect for the human-animal bond. It's our deep love for pets and continuing education in pet care which helps us to provide pet parents with the best & up to date care for their pets through or services: Positive Reinforcement Dog Training, NYC Dog Walking including a Walk & Train program, Custom Country Boarding, and our Board & Train program.
WHAT'S YOUR CURRENT FAVORITE SERVICE?
-Our Walk, Play & Train program in NYC. This provides more than just a walk. It's an opportunity for dogs to get mental and physical stimulation during their walk by incorporating basic obedience commands and positive reinforcement training from one of our certified positive trainers. Clients who participate are updated daily with videos and handouts that include the different cues and tricks that are being taught to their dogs.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR TRIBECA PET SERVICES?
-In the near future, we have plans to offer more dog enrichment activities, and to expand our positive dog training programs.
WHAT ARE THE GREATEST CHALLENGES AND REWARDS OF BEING A SMALL BUSINESS
OWNER IN NYC?
-One of the greatest rewards is creating, from the ground up, a successful business in one of the most prestigious cities in the world. The biggest challenge in NYC is the traffic.
IF YOU HAD ONLY ONE DAY LEFT IN NYC, HOW WOULD YOU SPEND IT?
-I would probably spend it near the Hudson River observing the greatest views in the world--Manhattan skyline, Statue of Liberty...
