Your donations entrusted to the Islamic Center are greatly valued and handled with the best practices possible. Please take a moment to read this important year end announcement.

Important Notice for 2016 Contributors
Tax Receipts/Letters: To ensure deductibility of your contributions to the IEC (Islamic Educational Council) please do not file your 2016 income tax returns until you have received a written acknowledgement of your contributions. Insha'Allah these will be mailed out by the end of January.

If your address has changed, please notify the office immediately. If you are expecting a tax letter and do not receive one by February 3, please contact the Finance office at [email protected]  with your full name and mailing address.

This is a good opportunity for all of community members to donate to your Masjid. Your donation is tax deductible. All donations postmarked by December 31, 2016 can be claimed when you file your taxes in the new year. ICGC provides contributors with a letter of acknowledgement that serves as your 'receipt' for all year to date contributions. Please remember to wait for your letter before you file your taxes. Be sure to include your name and address with your donation so that we know who to send the donation letter to. If the address printed on your check is not up to date, you will need to make a note of that. For your convenience, you can  make your donation online and receive your 2016 tax deduction for donations made online by 11:59pm, December 31.

Also, if your email addresses ever change, please be sure to let us know so that we can update our email list and pass that word on to your spouses as well.

Important Notice about Your Membership
2016 Membership dues must be received or postmarked by 12/31/16. In-person payments must be made by 4:00 on 12/30/16. If you pay your dues through a monthly automatic deduction then disregard as your membership automatically renews year-to-year until you cancel in writing. However, please update your credit card on file if it expires. To ensure your membership does not lapse to avoid any disruption of member privileges, please get your check into the mail for payment of your membership dues postmarked by Friday, December 31.

We highly encourage everyone to obtain and complete IEC membership. It is a very meaningful way to be an ongoing supporter of the Center, receive a number of benefits and be a part of the decision making at the Center through the elections. Information is available in the office or  Apply Online.

We sincerely thank you for your kind and generous support of this institution and pray that Allah swt (God Almighty) blesses you with much more in return.

Islamic Center In The News

Every community has a narra tive.  Either that community controls the narrative or the narrative cont rols the community. Now more than ever the American Muslim community has to take control of the narrative. This can only be achieved if as a community we are building bridges and inroads with media.  Media outlets want to cover stories and do pieces that people are interested in. They want viewers, readers, comments, and discussions.  It is critical that as a community we are more visible and more vocal in the media.

We have been blessed for wide and positive coverage of the Center.  When there is positive coverage we must all give feedback and acknowledge and appreciate the work of the media. Please take a few minutes to review the media links and give positive feedback where you feel comfortable.
