ArticleTwoAre you healthy? Stay that way! man with flu

If you wait until you're sick to look for a doctor, you have waited too long. If you're healthy now but don't have a regular health care provider, this is the perfect time to establish yourself as a Families First Health Center patient. Then, if you come down with something, you'll be able to get an appointment right away.

Families First is accepting new patients, and the wait for your first appointment is only three to four weeks. (Or get on our waiting list for something even sooner.) Once you've had your first visit, there is almost no waiting for an appointment when you are sick. And don't forget: Families First patients have access to on-site, affordable dental care and behavioral health care, plus free child care during appointments. Call 603-422-8208 (press 1), or click for info on becoming a patient.

Article5Have the women you love had their health screenings?
heart If you have a mother, daughter, wife, girlfriend, sister or friend who is uninsured or underinsured, ask her if she is up-to-date on her screenings for breast and cervical cancer. If not, have her contact Jane Cummings, RN, to see if she is eligible for a free screening (603-422-8208 ext. 222 or by email). Families First Health Center patients can schedule screenings at their convenience. Members of the public are invited to make an appointment for our next screening session on February 27th.
