Vineyard Tour & Wine Tasting

Barnett Hill Winery, Walpole 

Cheshire County Farm Bureau will host a wine tasting at Barnett Hill Winery and Vineyard, owned and operated by Virginia Carter.  The winery received the 2012 Farm of Distinction Award, given each year to a farm that maintains its beauty and stays aesthetically pleasing.  Ms. Carter grows 32 varieties of French-American Hybrid cold climate grapes perfectly suited to her location high on a hill overlooking the Connecticut River.  

Come take a walking tour of the vineyard and wine making facilities.  Our meeting will be  held after the tour and wine tasting will be available to county farm bureau members free of charge and to all others for $4.  We will provide locally made desserts and cheeses to enjoy with Cheshire County's newest wines.  Questions?
