First Fruits on the First Day of School - Wednesday (9/7)
Gates Open at 7:30AM - Corporate Prayer at 8:00AM

A Note from Mr. Moore -

One of my fondest memories of last year was the first day of school. It was humbling to see all of you parents out on the blacktop ready to see your child(ren) off into the building and joining us in prayer over them. This year, I want to call upon our community to spend a few more minutes together in prayer to our King and the plans He has for MCS this year.

On Wednesday, September 7th, our gates will open at 7:30 as normal. We will then all join together as a Middle and Elementary School and pray over our students corporately at 8:00. For this day only, all of our students will go in together at 8:10 (with the exception of 8th grade who will have their picture taken). From 8:15 to 8:45 we will have stations set up around the school with topics to go before the Lord in prayer on. We are hopeful you will be able to stop at one station or even a few. Please mark your calendar to join us!!

2016-17 Year-at-a-Glance Updated Calendar & Schedules

Click here for a printable 2016-2017 Year at a Glance Calendar.  The calendar also includes school hours, chapel schedule, and the lunch schedule.

As stated in the August Welcome Back letter from Mr. Moore, the following changes were made to the school calendar over the summer:

Students will now attend school on November 1st and 14th. We will run a half day schedule on November 16th and 17th for Parent Conferences. November 18th will become a non-student day and is reserved for Professional Development. These adjustments were made to better align Professional Development to Benchmark Assessments and provide appropriate conferencing time with parents. To view the finalized 2016-2017 school calendar which includes these updates, click here.

The daily schedule will be posted on our website under Current Families shortly.

First Day of School Carpool & Parking

Carpool will run as usual on the first day of school (see video below). Please remember to enter Fischer from Airway (not Red Hill).  You may want to drop your children off through carpool first, then park and meet your children on the blacktop. Please ARRIVE EARLY to allow plenty of time to be with your children and other families on the blacktop, to be part of the corporate prayer for our students, and to see them off for their first day of school 2016-2017!

Parking will be available in the front lot, on Fischer Avenue, and on Airway Avenue.  Be prepared to walk and please do not park in our neighbors parking lots. Thank you!
