Strategy, Growth and the Future
The Cleveland Orchestra has reached new listeners with long term residencies in Miami and Europe. By incorporating opera, ballet, movies, neighborhood concerts into programing, they have gained new audiences. How has this been accomplished? Gary Hanson, Interim President (recently retired), Cleveland Orchestra and Interim Director, Cleveland Institute of Music.

College Investment: Is It Worth It?
A Test Question on College Investment?
Is education truly the passing of the soul from one generation to the next? What's your answer?   Is it an authentic transformative experience into adulthood or an expensive passage to a higher paying job, since the average college debt for 4 years is $35,000.  All 3 speakers shared fascinating information about career exploration, the importance of work experience and experiential learning, internships, and the devastating lack of state budget money compared to former years. Bill Morgan, CSU's Vic-Provost for Faculty Affairs, JT Neuffer Director, Tri-C's Employer Relations, and Robin Hedges,  Associate Director of CWRU's Career Center,  engaged the audience with a multitude of facts and experience on the fast changing realities of higher education, debt, and the job market.

What we do and why we do it.
As Unitarian Universalists, we organize forums to "search and serve", i.e. search for answers and serve the community, an important goal for our entire congregation. The forums support personal reflection, social action, and encourage individual and collective growth.  All are invited.
