Four Dead In Ohio! 8/16/17
A VERY HAPPY 29th BIRTHDAY TO MS. JILL COHRAN!!
Ecclesiastes 1:9 (KJV)
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Like many of you, I am DEEPLY saddened-even sickened-by the horrific events unfolding "under the sun!"
As I drove down the road in an attempt to gain some solitude and quiet, I heard the refrain from a tune released in the summer of 1970- "FOUR DEAD IN OHIO!"
Twenty-nine guardsmen fired approximately 67 rounds over a period of 13 seconds, killing four students and wounding nine others, one of whom suffered permanent paralysis.
As one WELL ACQUAINTED with the death of sons and daughters, I viewed the above YOUTUBE video with almost gasping horror, with the chilling refrain in my very soul:
"WHAT IF YOU KNEW HER AND FOUND HER DEAD ON THE GROUND?"
As a side note, my beloved grandson Devin "would have" been 26 years old tomorrow.
If you have ever held a dead body of a loved one in your arms..............................

As these tragic events unfolded over the weekend, I GLADLY posted my STATEMENT with a picture of Pastor Michael Smith-A BLACK MAN-as WE stood, arms around each other-A WHITE MAN-officiating a WATER BAPTISM:
Sadly, as the hate mongers/IE. politicians, media talking heads/etc. spew out their divisive GARBAGE, the CHURCH of the Lord Jesus Christ must remain UNITED!
