Roush CleanTech announces CARB certified propane engine in Blue Bird buses to lowest NOx in market
ROUSH CleanTech developed the first propane autogas engine available in Class 4-7 vehicles and Blue Bird Type C buses certified to the optional low nitrogen oxide (NOx) level .05 grams per brake horsepower per hour. These new Environmental Protection Agency- and California Air Resources Board (CARB)-certified propane engines are 75 percent cleaner than the current emissions standard. Full story
New-vehicle fuel economy remains at 25.3 mpg
The average fuel economy for new vehicles sold in the United States in May has remained unchanged since April at 25.3 mpg, according to Michael Sivak and Brandon Schoettle, researchers from the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute . Full story
Orange EV announces electric truck milestone
Orange EV says that its deployed fleet of heavy-duty electric trucks has surpassed 50,000 "key on" hours and 110,000 miles. Looking ahead, the company expects to exceed 60,000 hours by mid-June. Full story
