Apply Now for a Gifted Ed Scholarship
The Joyce VanTassel-Baska Endowed Scholarship provides annual awards of $500 to honor Dr. VanTassel-Baska's contributions to the field of gifted education, and to support educators who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in working with gifted learners. Certificate participants may apply for this scholarship through November 1, 2016. Scholarship award(s) will be announced at the November 18 Gifted Education Conference.
New! Free Webinar on Creating Choice Menus on October 13
Choice menus can be used to differentiate content, process, and product for advanced learners in the regular classroom. This session will present the rationale and design features of menus and explore various menus used for different purposes. Choice menus work extremely well in heterogeneous classrooms as alternative activities when students are compacted out of mastered grade level content.

Creating specialized classes to provide rigorous and challenging material is critical to gifted learners' success. Coming this summer, Rutgers University--- New Brunswick will offer three intensive one-week residential summer academies for students ages 16-18 focusing on engineering, STEM, and leadership.
