AutoMax Recruiting and Training National Conference
Each year AutoMax Recruiting and Training brings all it's internal staff and Recruiter Trainers together for a conference to go over best practices,new technology,programs and improvements for our dealer clients and the salespeople we train and all the staffing we do for Dealerships nationwide.
This year we are in Charlotte North Carolina and the "Theme " of this years conference is Act Now!

My dreams are worthless, my plans are dust, my goals are impossible. All are of no value unless they are followed by action. I will act now.
Never has there been a map, however carefully executed to detail and scale, which carried its owner over even one inch of
ground. Never has there been a parchment of law, however fair, which prevented one crime. Never has there been a scroll, even such as the one I hold, which earned so much as a penny or produced a single word of acclamation. Action, alone, is the tinder, which ignites the map, the parchment, this scroll, my dreams, my plans, my goals, into a living force. Action is the food and drink, which will nourish my success.
I will act now.
The synergy, information, new improvements will help assist dealers act now in upgrading their human capital, their internal clients.

I asked my father,Ed Lockerd to Keynote the AutoMax Recruiting and Training Annual National Conference and what a blessing it was he was there.
My father started in the auto industry as a salesman and ran several large dealerships,owned several used car lots and was a new car dealer and an RV dealer as well.Over 60 years of experience in the car business.
My dad told some great stories from days gone by but also impressed upon all of us that the basics have never changed,have goals,don't look back,look forward,have a great,positive attitude and treat the customer with dignity and respect and you will be successful.
I wish to publically thank my dad for not only being at the conference but giving me the opportunity and tools to be successful in business,help other people and be a better man.
