Dear Friend,

We hope you and all your loved ones are safe, healthy, and happy.

We wanted to share our new Operation Dark Hollow rescue video with you today as an example of the power of your compassion in action.

As ARC's Shelter Manager and Senior Field Team member Michael Cunningham shared,

"As I watch this video, I reflect on the day of the rescue, and how I didn't know these animals. I was so focused on the job at hand of getting them rescued and keeping everyone safe.

Now, I know each one of them, by name. I know their quirks and likes and dislikes. As they appear on the screen, I know their name. "Oh, there is Delilah, living on that pile of rocks"... the only bed she ever knew. And now she's sacked out on her clean fluffy bed with a full belly, dreaming. What is she dreaming about now?

I see the dogs in the shed and I start to cry... How could anyone be so cruel to do that to them? They're just pups... I can usually hold it together during the extraction but when I opened that shed, I cried and so did others. It was cruel what he did to them...
Now I see them thriving! I see them so "in the moment." As bad as their life was before, they're moving on. Life is good now! They're awesome dogs and are going to make wonderful companions."

This is your compassion in action, Friend.
We are all so grateful for the generosity of ARC donors and volunteers like you whose help and support rescued the 83 dogs, 9 ducks, 1 horse, and 1 donkey of Operation Dark Hollow -- and, in so doing, helped ARC meet (and exceed) our matching challenge goal to make double the impact.

You change lives, you change the world. You're the best.
Thank you.
Love,
Animal Rescue Corps
