TopGolf Set to Host Teaching and Coaching Summit
TopGolf Centennial will be the host of the 2017 Teaching and Coaching Summit presented by K-Vest, GolfTEC and the PGA Tour.

Cherry Hills Country Club to Host JGAC Tour Championship in 2017
Cherry Hills Country Club will host the JGAC Tour Championship for the second year in a row October 7-8, 2017. The event will feature the top-40 boys and top-20 girls on the JGAC Tour Points List as of October 3, 2017.

March 1 Deadline Looming for PGA of America and Colorado PGA Scholarships
The PGA of America and Colorado PGA Scholarship programs provide college scholarships for children and grandchildren of PGA Members. It encourages and promotes the attainment of higher educational goals for the children and grandchildren of PGA Members, based on evidence of a high level of academic achievement during high school or college.
The application for both scholarships is the same.
The deadline to submit all paperwork is March 1, 2017.

Indian Tree Set to host Pro Only Event May 4, 2017
Indian Tree Golf Club will host Pro-only #3 on Thursday, May 4, 2017. The format for the event will be an individual Stroke Play event with an option Blind Draw Pro-Pro.

USGA announces U.S. Open local qualifying sites
The USGA has unveiled the list of local qualifiers for the 117th U.S. Open, a gauntlet that includes a first-ever trip to Canada and concludes this summer at Erin Hills.
The local qualifiers in the state of Colorado are:

PGA of America chief Pete Bevacqua has a new role: golf sidekick to President Trump
The game is an interesting place, these days in general and this week in particular. On Monday, President's Day, the First Golfer was in the friendly confines of Mar-a-Lago, with its cooling proximity to his home course, Trump International in West Palm Beach, Fla. Meanwhile, 17 miles north on I-95, PGA Tour players were setting up shop on the driving range at PGA National, where the Honda Classic will be played starting on Thursday on a course designed by Jack Nicklaus, with whom Donald Trump has had a significant-and decidedly down-and-up-business relationship. On their way in, the players will pass the national headquarters of the PGA of America, Pete Bevacqua presiding.
