Yesterday Matt and I leaf thinned all of our Brianna grapes. It went quite well until
we tried to leaf thinn a post. In fixing it we found that the machine does have a breakaway point to protect from this type of damage. It took us about an hour and we had it back running and everything's working good. But we don't want to do that again. (P.S. Don't tell Jon! We will see if he reads my newsletter.)

Below I have a few photos from my goldfish pond. I have not had water lilies before, so it's nice to see one in bloom. The fish are growing and gobbling up my fish food, I hope they survive again through this next winter. Unfortunately it will be here too soon.
