Don't miss out on our THURSDAY TURKEY WORKOUT at 9 AM! Bring your friends and family!

 

The workout is totally free and open to the public.  All we ask is that you bring in 4 non-perishable food items to donate to the Upper Valley Haven.

COACH FOR AN HOUR?! We're looking for volunteers to help with the Turkey Torcher on Thanksgiving morning. We'll be doing a "workers workout" at 8am so you won't miss out on getting in a workout for helping out, if anything you'll be in for twice the fun! 


 

WHO'S UP FOR IT?!  Please email Allison at [email protected] if you would like to help out.  The coaches work out will start promptly at 8 AM, so please come early!

Working Out sick:

It's the cold and flu season.  Here's three rules of thumb to go if you are feeling under the weather:
- If it's below your neck stay home.  So any digestive issues/diarrhea/throwing up/achy joints = stay home.
- If you can't talk or have difficulty talking = stay home.
- If you have to ask yourself "Should I go to the gym today?" = stay home.

The gym gets cleaned a few times a week, however, if you are feeling even a LITTLE BIT under the weather, please wipe down the benches after you use them and use the Germ-X liberally at the front of the gym.

From now until December 15th we will be having a very simple testimonial contest that will have a huge pay out to two lucky winners. All we are asking is for 5 minutes of your time to go to our

KDR Athletics!


 

Do you want your kids to play at their TOP POTENTIAL?

Are you frustrated with Chronic INJURIES every season?

Do you want your child to improve as an athlete so they can be a better player on the field?

 

KDR Athletics is all about growing young girls' athletic potential in the weight room to allow them to become the player they want to be on the field.


 

The program will focus on Injury Prevention FIRST!  A healthy athlete is a strong athlete that can contribute to the team more and can play to their full potential. 


 

Along with Injury prevention we will focus on building a more complete ATHLETE!  That means increasing muscle strength and power, improving flexibility, cultivating agility and quickness and unleashing the INNER LIONESS! 

 

Let's make this season better then the last!

 

Details of the program:

They will be provided with a detailed training program and will meet with a coach every time they come into the gym. 


 

Each athlete will receive an in-depth movement and posture assessment on the first Monday or Tuesday of the session.  During this assessment we will also figure out your unique individual injury potential. 

 

This assessment will allow us to customize the program for the athlete.

This is only open to 30 FEMALE ATHLETES age 12-19.  We are looking for 30 dedicated athletes to allow us to offer the program at $10 per class!

STAFF CHALLENGE
Time to place your votes!! You have from today through Wednesday to check out the Staff's folder and place your vote! May the best staffer win!

VOTING:
The voting will be based on over all changes, members will look at the program and Inbody progress as well as the goals of each individual staff member.

Members will vote from November 24th through November 26th via good old put the name in a box! Winner will be named at the Turkey Torcher on Thanksgiving Morning. The prize is a cash pot!

This is big everyone, it's not everyday you get to know what your coaches are eating, how they're working out and what they're goals are............. WHO'S IT'S GOING TO BE?!
