Prints have been flying out the door at record speed, and folks seem to be pretty ECSTATIC to be able to buy such great art so affordably. Open Fridays and Saturdays, 12-5 AND by appointment! Through July 18...
After 25 years, the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative will be relocating in August 2015, 4 blocks north to 4912 N Western Ave, so this is definitely one of our craziest annual sales ever. Etchings, lithographs, screen prints, woodcuts, linoleum cuts, tee shirts, all printed BY HAND, the old fashioned way, cranked through presses and pulled through screens and inked on stones.
For some reason, this Dan Grzeca print has been particularly popular lately:
You cannot believe the stacks of prints we have this year, including a HUGE
pile of highly collectible prints by legendary printmaker David Driesbach, whose family has been going through his archive (as he continues to make prints at the age of 93). Most of these have gone into Museum Collections, but about 100 proofs were dropped off on CPC's doorstep last month, and we still have some. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to afford the master's artwork. Here's a little

We're also pleased as pie to have a VERY NICE stack of Jay Ryan's prints this

This might be your last chance to see us in our current space, which has been our home for over 15 years. The CPC will close in August in preparation for the move to our brand new digs at 4912 North Western Avenue, just a 4 minute walk up the street!
So... please stop by and say hi during our regular open hours,
Fridays and Saturdays 12-5pm, and by appointment.
Introducing the future home of CPC...
currently being "scooped and filled", with skylight added, rooms framed in, floors scraped in prep for new poured concrete, underground plumbing and drains installed, and new roof. Next up - new storefront, facade, walls, roofdeck, outdoor patio and finishes!!! WOW. Crazy times ahead...

Bottom R: CPC hosted an APA (Amalgamated Printer's Association) event last week in the
raw space for the 2015 Chicagoose Letterpress Conference. Walls were tagged, extension cords
stoked the coffeemakers, and natural light was where it was at...yeah.
