A Weekly Peek at Our Savior's....

God's good work continues in this place thanks to motivated
members, friends, and staff. Look what's happening in the
Fellowship Ministry at Our Savior's.

What is fellowship? Fellowship is defined as "community of interest, activity, feeling, or experience" and "a company of equals or friends." Fellowship is what brings us together as a community of believers. It is where relationships are formed, conversations are had, and God's love is shared. It's not just about socializing - it's about sharing the word of God with fellow believers.
The Fellowship Committee spends their time coordinating the many areas of fellowship within our church. This includes Wednesday Night Suppers, Lenten Soup Suppers and Lunches, Funerals, Sunday Morning Coffee, Special Congregational Events, and External Group Activities.
Wednesday Night Suppers have become a mainstay for our Wednesday evening worshipers. It gives them a chance to share a meal with their family, and with their church family, without having to cook. Lenten Soup Suppers remain a very popular option during the Wednesdays of Lent. It is where you can see people of multiple generations interacting together over a warm meal. Each week, our church members bring a variety of delicious soups and desserts to share. Coffee and treats are also an important part of fellowship on Sunday mornings.
Our church is blessed with a multitude of volunteers that help with all of our fellowship activities - setting up, serving, and cleaning up for Wednesday Night Suppers; providing desserts and helping with funerals; providing soup and desserts for Lenten Soup Suppers; preparing and serving coffee on Sunday mornings; and much more. Without these volunteers, we would not be able to continue our fellowship opportunities.
