A Weekly Peek at Our Savior's....

MINISTRY IN MOTION

God's good work continues in this place thanks to motivated members, friends, and staff.  Look what's happening in the
Women's Ministry at Our Savior's!

The women of Our Savior's have just co mpleted their 4th retreat which was held this year at the Mt Olivet Retreat Center in Farmington.  Twenty-nine women attended and shared great fellowship while Sarah and Hagar were the focus!  Already plans are in the works for a 2019 retreat.

Looking ahead to July and August there will be Bible Study in the Park where the study will focus on prayer.  The quilters, prayer shawl knitters and card recyclers continue as usual for the summer, as well.  Planning is in the works for three "Girl's Time Out" events in the upcoming fall/winter. One will help us all get organized and Yoga "Looking for the Light" will also be on the agenda.  The women will be making cookies again in December and the Advent Teas will be on the schedule.

Always all women and friends of Our Savior's are invited to attend and be a part of the activities of the women.  Working and being with other women of all ages is a wonderfully renewing experience.  The mission of Women of the ELCA is "Mobilizing women to act boldly on their faith in Jesus Christ" and activities are aimed at community, growth and action.

Members of the Women's Ministry Leadership Team are:  Cindy Gackle, Jan Leppla, Jeaneen Lewis, Susan Fredricksen, Becky Maier (Team Leader), Marlene Lentz and Nancy Fjestad (Treasurer, not pictured).
