MY HERO Updates for January 2018

As we ring in the new year, we give special thanks to the teachers, students and media makers who share their inspiring stories with MY HERO. Together we shine a light on positive role models from all walks of life from around the world. The MY HERO staff works to provide a safe online venue for young and old alike to discover and share hero themed stories, art, music and films. The content on the website promotes cross cultural understanding and a real respect for diversity. Our new web platform is mobile friendly and makes sharing easy.

We hope that you will challenge your students to think about those making a positive difference in the community and ask them to use their creative energy to honor their heroes with an original song, portrait, short film, essay...then use our digital tools to share / publish their inspiration. The 2018 HERO Fest will showcase student work and prizes will be awarded for outstanding media to elementary, middle and high school and college students ---so please get involved.

We have so much to learn from one another. We want to improve and grow with your support.

Please review our newsletter and know how much we value your input.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Wishing you peace and joy in the New Year!
