In this month reading the tug of war between the narrator and Albertine continues. The narrator convinces Albertine that  instead of going to the Verdurines, she must go with Andrée to Trocadero. We follow Albertine to this promenade while listening to the angst consuming the narrator's obsessive thoughts.
