"Memorial Day Weekend "

Dear Members & Friends of Our Savior's Lutheran Church,

I missed being with you this past Sunday as Pastor Keith Lentz led you in worship and as our graduates received their quilts and blessings. What a joy it was to see pictures of the day that will soon be shared on our facebook page. I was able to be away last Sunday to celebrate with my daughter, Annica, her Rite of Confirmation. It was a beautiful service and day spent with good friends and family. This coming Sunday I will not be with you in worship again. I am celebrating the completion of my Doctor of Ministry Thesis and will graduate from Bethel University and Seminary in St. Paul. I am thankful that Pastor Ed Schmidt will be in my place with you on Sunday. It is Memorial Day weekend so I remind you that we will be offering only one worship service at 9:00 am and it will be held in the sanctuary.

This week our new Parish Nurse, Jean Pottratz, began her work and ministry among us. She will be with us in worship on Sunday, June 4. I look forward to introducing her to you. Stop in sometime and introduce yourself to her as well. She would appreciate that, I'm sure.

We continue to be thankful for all that God is doing through you in this community of faith.

Come and see!

A refundable deposit of $100 will be due by June 1 to hold your spot for this fantastic opportunity for a vacation with a purpose in sunny Jamaica. Sunday Morning Coffee Volunteers

Enjoying a good cup of coffee while chatting with other OSLC members is a focal point of the hospitality time during worship services. With summer approaching and OSLC moving toward the summer worship schedule, volunteers are needed to prepare coffee for this hospitality time.
