Pat's Games has been chosen to host the 2012 Texas State Championship on October 13th.
 
It is a Standard constructed tournament. This tournament will be one of the first big tournaments to include the Return to Ravnica, which releases on October 5th.
 
The Texas State Tournament over the past years has had very poor prize support.  The draw to this tournament was the honor of being the State Champion.  This is indeed a very important title, but I do believe the tournament should have good prize support.  I am currently working on the prize support.  I am going to throw a few surprises into the prize pool. Since they are surprises, I cannot discuss them at the moment.  Darn, I have such a difficult time keeping secrets. Why do I keep doing this to myself? Well, mum is the word on this subject for now. 


The Norris Conference Center is graciously preparing food for our events on Saturday.  Outside food IS ALLOWED, so you can bring your own food if you desire.  We will not be taking any breaks during the tournaments. There are many good restaurants in the North Cross Mall area so no one should go hungry.
