Third Annual Healthy Habits Challenge is Here
|
Adopt one new healthy habit and practice it for 30 days!
Help brand Pleasanton as one of the healthiest places to live, work and raise a family. Local business, non-profit and healthcare leaders are joining forces to engage individuals, companies and families in the third annual city-wide Healthy Habits Challenge.
The goal of the challenge is to engage as many people as possible in a new healthy practice, of their own choosing, for up to 30 days. The 2014 Healthy Habits Challenge takes place throughout the month of September. Participants can sign up to join the challenge anytime and participate in making a simple yet important step toward better health.

September Mixer Next Week at New Leaf - Salute to Education

New Leaf Community Markets and the Pleasanton Chamber are partnering for the second year in a row for the September Networking Mixer. This event will feature a Salute to Education theme and is an effort to connect business with education.
Pleasanton Unified School District teachers, classified members, and management team are invited to attend as our guests at no charge.
The mixer is set for Wednesday, September 10 at New Leaf's Pleasanton store in the Vintage Hills Shopping Center from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

It's time to celebrate the role of business with a backyard BBQ at Barone's. Legendary local grill master Tony Macchiano and the Lickety Spit BBQ team will be on the grill prepping a rib dinner with all the fixings, great beverages from local purveyors, and live music.
Every elected official in the area with jurisdiction over Pleasanton is invited to attend and the event is open to the public.
