We are so pleased to share that this week we received our Accreditation with Distinction Designation with the Chamber Accreditation Council of Canada! The process was a grueling one, but like they say - hard work pays off!

We do hope you are taking a break from your hard work and enjoying some of what our glorious region has to offer this summer. Looking to combine some summer socialization into work? We celebrated all of our nominees earlier this month at a BBQ and we are are now in Phase 2 of the process. All of our nominees who complete their nomination packages will move on, and become semi-finalists! Packages are due at the end of August, so don't miss the deadline!

We've also begun planning the main event! Finalists, their families, friends and associates, as well as the business community, are all invited to join us for the ceremonious event on October 13th. Early-Bird Tickets are now on sale. We've also introduced a special table-rate this year!

Wage Subsidy Program Available

Get $ for highly skilled young employees

The NEW Career Focus Wage Subsidy Program, funded in part by the Government of Canada's Youth Employment Strategy, helps facilitate the transition of highly skilled young people into the labour market by providing employers with a Wage Subsidy when they hire eligible applicants.

Benefits for Employers

* Signing up for the Program is free
* Offset the costs of hiring and training
* Find and keep educated, skilled, high caliber employees

* Wage subsidy is negotiated up to $6000
* Employers provide a minimum 35 hours a week for 26 weeks
