Teams Wanted for the Fire Truck Pull at
 Lifetime Assistance Airport Games June 9
Lifetime's Largest Annual Event Will be Held on
the Airport Runway
Rochester, NY – May 3, 2018 – Lifetime Assistance is looking for teams of up to 10 participants to pull a 45-ton Gates Fire Department fire truck at t he 19th Annual Lifetime Assistance Airport Games on Saturday June 9 at 11 a.m. at USAirports Hangar, 1299 Scottsville Road.

The Airport Games is Lifetime's largest annual event. Funds raised will provide life-enriching experiences and opportunities for adults and children with developmental disabilities including health and wellness programs, educational advancement opportunities, technology, essential adaptive lift and transfer equipment, Special Olympics training and more. 

The team that pulls the truck the farthest in 15 seconds wins a trophy and bragging rights. The top fundraiser wins two Seabreeze Amusement Park passes.

The Airport Games will also feature USAirports 5K Run/Walk, Flower City CrossFit 5K (5 challenge stations), Junior Games and Kids Fun Run, 62-foot Inflatable obstacle course for adults and kids, Seneca Park Zoo mobile, National Guard helicopter tour, music, food trucks and more.

USAirports 5K Run/Walk first place prize is a pair of Delta Air Lines round trip tickets to anywhere in the US. Flower City CrossFit 5K first place prize is a $500 Rogue Fitness gift card. Second and third place prizes include a $250 and $100 Visa gift card, respectively.
Lifetime Assistance raised a record $140,000 at last year's Airport Games to provide life-enriching experiences and opportunities to adults and children with developmental disabilities. This year's goal is $145,000.

Registration Fees

  • USAirports 5K Run/Walk – $25 (increases to $30 day-of race)
  • Flower City CrossFit 5K – $25 (increases to $30 day-of race)
  • Gates Fire Department Truck Pull – $30 (increases to $35 day-of race)
  • 5K/Truck Pull Combo – $35 (not available day-of race)
  • Junior Games – $5 
USAirports 5K Run/Walk
Runners try for their fastest time on the flattest course around the airport runway. Teams, strollers, wheelchairs and all fitness levels are encouraged to participate.
Flower City CrossFit 5K
A combination of the traditional 5K with five challenge stations throughout the course, varying from burpees to kettle bells and more.
Junior Games
For ages 12 and under. Includes a 1/4-mile run and inflatable obstacle course along with other games and prizes.
