WinterFair 2018 Thank You
It was a brisk Saturday morning. As parishioners and volunteers made last minute arrangements to displays, prospective shoppers filled the courtyard. Shortly after 10 am, the doors opened and visitors streamed in. Another WinterFair was underway and what a success it was!

There are never enough words to make known our appreciation to all those who gave so much time, energy and commitment to this great event. To those who organized and arranged women’s, men’s and children’s clothes and toys, who worked in the kitchen as cooks and dishwashers, who set and cleared the Café tables, who unpacked and organized hundreds of books, who dusted and displayed household items collectively known as “Fleas” and “Heavy Fleas” – we thank you.

To those who served the cakes, collected coats and counted cash — we thank you. And to those who labored long hauling furniture, setting up and cleaning up — we thank you.

Our thanks to all of the staff of Grace who work tirelessly just to keep the wheels turning.

And finally, a special thanks to Barbara Becker, Kate Hill, and Brianna McCarty for their incredible dedication to organizing this year’s Fair. And always, our thanks to Lynn Vardakis who created the foundation on which we continue to build today.

Funds raised through the WinterFair and Spring Gala are used for improvements to and the beautification of the Church. Most recently, Fair funds have been used to help build the accessible facility that we bless on Sunday.
