As the old saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words!" As

shown by the impressive images from Peter Pereira here, the Ernestina-Morrissey or "Phoenix of the Seas", is well on her way to "rise again". Remember how worn and unseaworthy
she was in the Spring of 2015 when the vessel arrived at Boothbay Harbor Shipyard? How

exciting to see these pictures that tell the story of her ongoing reconstruction! But we're not done!
Our job at SEMA is to finish raising one million dollars before the vessel is launched in just over a year's time. Thanks to all past support we've received and the $375,000 matching challenge grant from the Manton Foundation, we are within striking distance of reaching our target and

the ultimate $6.3 million required for the project.
Now is the time to help us reach our goal! Any donation you make will be matched 1:1 by the Manton Challenge which doubles the value of your contribution!
Please donate today and help this inspiring, historic vessel "rise again", as strong as the day in 1894 when she first entered the water in Essex, Massachusetts.
Your donation WILL make a difference. Thank you for considering our request.
Visit our website to see more of Peter's terrific photos. You will find more ways to donate there. There's a way you can triple the impact of your donation!

Warm Regards,
