Technology Open House Recap
We enjoyed a fabulous turnout for our first-ever Technology Open House! Guests watched technology demonstrations and spoke with our faculty and staff about our Information Technology (IT) and Engineering Technology (ET) specialized associate degree programs and our Drone Initiative classes and clubs.

Exhibits and demos included various info sessions, a look at some of our students' projects, and information about our IT & ET student clubs. Instructor Chuck Farrell was on hand for drone flight demos, we opened our drone flight simulation lab, and visitors heard more about our drone classes as well as our drone racing club.

Many thanks to all who joined us for a fun, informative evening!

The Ducks Have Returned...
It's officially Spring at South Hills! Every year, a family of ducks returns to our Main Campus in State College to lay their eggs and raise their young. This has been happening since we first built our school in their field in 1989. We have a great relationship with them, and we have always provided great shelter and protection for them.

If you snap any photos of our ducks and their babies while you're visiting our Main Campus, please share them with us!
This remarkable shot of a mama duck and her 13 babies was taken by our Receptionist, Anja Lucas.
29th Annual Summer Music Picnic Series
This year marks the 29th year that South Hills will be hosting the annual Summer Music Picnic Series. The free music concerts, held on the lawn at the State College campus at 480 Waupelani Drive, are open to the community. Performances are scheduled every Sunday in June through August. They are sponsored by the Mazza Foundation for Education in conjunction with South Hills School of Business & Technology. Performances will go on rain or shine – the events are always moved inside the school if it rains.
