Seeking Nominees from Region 2000 for CIT GAP 50 Awards

On July 19, Virginia's CIT launched the GAP 50 Entrepreneur Awards, a new statewide entrepreneur award program, designed to identify and celebrate Virginia's next generation entrepreneurs in the areas of life sciences, technology and energy. You can find a copy of the CIT press release here. Please join me in identifying and nominating Virginia's most innovative entrepreneurs to be recognized by the Center for Innovative Technology for this award at an October awards banquet. Region 2000 has a number of successful new ventures driven by promising entrepreneurs that deserve statewide recognition for their achievements. The recently launched GAP 50 Entrepreneur Award program is designed to promote the next generation of entrepreneurs from all corners of Virginia. Since each nominee must be nominated  by 3 people prior to being voted on, we would appreciate our business and technology community's involvement.
Please forward the names, titles and brief accomplishments of any entrepreneurs you would like to submit to me directly bbailey@caer.us or you may submit them online directly at www.cit.org/gap50. The deadline for receiving nominations is September 20 so don't delay.
