People say all kinds of things; websites & ads make all kinds of claims. Most of us take it all “with a grain of salt.” We don’t automatically believe everything we read or hear.
With that in mind as we produced the
Seventh Day
series, we determined that our research must be credible and clear. We wanted to be sure that anyone could find the same information we had found. Dr. P. Gerard Damsteegt reviewed our scripts and sources to make sure all was accurate and footnoted properly; we left out stories that didn't meet our documentation criterion; we posted our scripts with their footnotes on the
Seventh Day
website.
Now we’ve gone to the next level. You don’t have to take our word for it - you can actually look at the original sources yourself! Isn’t that terrific!? Take a look at the "Steal our research. Please!” announcement further below in this newsletter.
Friends, I want to talk about something else too.
Amid the incessant cacophony of election chatter – the voices of accusation, rudeness and lewdness – we have to wonder, what has happened to the United States of America, the lamblike beast of prophecy, once a haven for the tired, the poor, the persecuted?
- “Lawlessness, dissipation, and corruption are sweeping in upon us like an overwhelming tide. There is envy, evil surmising, hypocrisy, estrangement, emulation, strife, betrayal of sacred trusts, indulgence of lust. The whole system of religious principles and doctrines, which should form the foundation and framework of social life, seems to be a tottering mass, ready to fall to ruin.”*
What’s happened to the religions principles that undergirded our society?
- “From the very beginning of the great controversy in heaven, it has been Satan’s purpose to overthrow the law of God.
- No error accepted by the Christian world strikes more boldly against the authority of Heaven, none is more directly opposed to the dictates of reason, none is more pernicious in its results, than the modern doctrine, so rapidly gaining ground, that God’s law is no longer binding upon men.*
At least, it’s a good excuse, a way to avoid accountability...
- And as the only way to free themselves from a duty which they are unwilling to perform, many popular teachers declare that the law of God is no longer binding. Thus they cast away the law and the Sabbath together...This rejection of the divine law to avoid the claims of the fourth commandment will become well-nigh universal.*
Man’s law or God’s law? There will be a law…
- The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty; for it is the point of truth especially controverted…While the observance of the false Sabbath in compliance with the law of the state, contrary to the fourth commandment, will be an avowal of allegiance to a power that is in opposition to God, the keeping of the true Sabbath, in obedience to God’s law, is an evidence of loyalty to the Creator.*
Even now, the lamblike beast is speaking as a dragon. Prophecy is fulfilling. People are deluded. Can we find those who value truth? Are there still opportunities to share? Yes! The
Seventh Day
DVD series has proved to be a valuable tool. History is disarming (who can argue with what actually happened?!), and Bible truths are clearly revealed in the stories of those who lived, suffered and died in ages past.
Of course, I love it when Adventists order the
Seventh Day
series to share! But I love it even more when others buy them to share! Recently WorldNet Daily, an online news magazine, ordered another case to sell in their online superstore. And a Messianic Christian gentleman ordered a set to watch and share.
We at LLT are committed to unmasking the two greatest deceptions:

Years of research and development led to LLT's production of
