After a year of extremes...
hot then cold, rainy then dry, and everything in between - (we won't even talk about the snow) - this seems an opportune time to offer Mother Earth a big thank you for the wonderful weather of this past week.

And it's a perfect time to become a little more environmentally conscious and appreciative.

To that end, may we suggest the annual Earth Festival at Milford Central School this Saturday?

There'll be a pre-festival bird walk, a seed presentation, spring garden day workshops, an exhibit and vendor fair with over 40 booths, the EcoArt/Trendy Trash Contest, and a raft of children's activities led by Milford Central School students.

You'll have a great time, and you'll make your "mother" happy.

Have a great week!

See you next Friday.

Laughing in the SAAC: Adam Grabowski
As the highest rated comedian in Campus Activities Magazine and winner of the 2012 Fastest Rising Star award, Adam Grabowski made history in 2013 by becoming the youngest comedian ever to win COMIC OF THE YEAR! The creativity and charisma of this 26-year-old from Chicago makes him the most exciting new act to hit the college circuit! Graduating early from the University of Illinois with a degree in Psychology, Adam used his productive procrastination skills to put off grad school by becoming a professional comedian. Adam performed at 122 colleges this year, putting his total at over 240 colleges in his career. His tour has taken him to 33 different states including stints at the Iowa Comedy Festival and L.A. Comedy Fest. CAMPUS ACTIVITIES MAGAZINE wrote: "Two parts Seinfeld, one part Demetri Martin, a tablespoon of Gaffigan, and a pinch of secret ingredient, Adam Grabowski's style is hard to define, but can be characterized in one word.... Hilarious!" For more information:
