It's a Whole New Bowl Game     

On the first weekend in February it's all about the big bowl... (and the little bowl, and the medium sized bowl.) 
And chili. 
It's the 12th annual Chili Bowl Cook-off and Fundraiser for CANO.

And chilly. 
It's the annual   Ice Harvest Festival at Hanford Mills.

And really chilly. 
It's the annual Winter Carnival in Cooperstown.

And downright cool. 
There are an incredible number of top flight musical performances being offered throughout the area.  There's a Mardi Gras celebration at Roots in Oneonta, and the Heart of the Catskills Fundraiser in Margaretville.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Main Street Baptist Church will host a day long No Regrets men's conference simulcast presentation at the church on Saturday, February 6 from 9:30AM to 5:00PM. TAKE ROOT, is the title of the daylong event that will include a line up of nationally known speakers addressing many of the spiritual concerns facing men of faith today. The premier Christian men's conference will have speakers: Crawford Loritts, Tierce Green, Stu Weber, Mike Breaux, Wilfredo De Jesús, and Steve Sonderman leading seminars on topics relating to men's everyday life. Take Root will be simulcast from Elm Brook Church in Southeastern Wisconsin across the country. The event at Main Street Baptist Church cost $5 and will include the conference, lunch and snacks.
