In two films  The Singing Stream Series documents 100 years of African American history using songs, stories, and scenes from the daily life of four generations of a family from Creedmoor, North Carolina.

Winner of the "Best Local Program" award from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. 

Tonight at  8 pm  on UNC-TV's "North Carolina Channel": "A Singing Stream"
and the second film next week.
