Our Club cordially invites everyone from our Kings Point Community to come to our Wednesday November 2, 2016 meeting, participate in our activities, listen to our speakers, and ask them questions about the issues of the day. All residents of Kings Point are invited regardless of political persuasion.

Unfortunately our October 5th meeting was cancelled because of the hurricane, but we dodged a bullet and snapped back quickly. Our guest speaker was supposed to be Phillip Blumel, President of U.S. Term Limits, who was going to speak about term limits for U.S Senators and Congresspersons. Mr. Blumel will speak at our December 7th meeting. Election Day is Tuesday November 8th and we hope you vote.

TOWN HALL MEETING

Let's Vote for Taniel Shant for the County Commission and against raising the sales tax, high County taxes and misplaced  pr iorities .

Taniel Shant  has excellent credentials for the job. He graduated from FAU with a degree in Political Science and holds a Masters degree from George Washington in Political Management. Learn about the sales tax referendum, the growth of the county budget, and other topics.

Our program will also feature a talk about gun control and the 2nd Amendment featuring Jack Levy. Jack will put the 2nd A mendment in historical perspective. He will also discuss the strengths of Donald Trump's platform and the weak nesses of  Hillary's, not just on the gun issue but all issues. Mr. Levy retired from a successful business career. He built, operated and maintained private cable TV systems at very large condominium and cooperative complexes in New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Florida. He also built and operated the nation's first hospital cable TV systems at Plantation General and Mt. Sinai - Miami hospitals. He is President of the Whisper Walk Gun Club in Boca Raton, a proud social membership organization teaching the safe, proper and lawful use of firearms for personal and property protection. Mr. Levy is married and has three adult daughters, all living in Florida.

Let's Vote for Paul Spain for our Representative in the U.S. Congress and against the huge national debt, budget and trade deficits, high taxes and misguided policies. Paul is a graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University and is a member of many community groups, such as the Kiwanis Club and Chamber of Commerce. He is particularly proud of his membership in Maggie's List, which promotes and supports efforts by women to hold public office. Paul is husband to Christine Spain, a former Supervisor of Elections candidate. Paul is a successful businessman and father of two.  You will learn why Paul Spain is the clear choice in our congressional district.

Scott Singer is a current Boca Raton City Councilman who is a candidate for re-election in March 2017. Mr. Singer is a cum laude graduate of Harvard and a Georgetown Law school graduate. He achieved a modicum of fame when he was a big Jeopardy quiz show winner. Scott practices law in Boca Raton and is married with two young children. Scott will also talk against the sales tax referendum and the importance of electing Taniel Shant to the County Commission
