Council Acts on Shelter Land Use Code Amendment

Following months of deliberation, the Bellevue Council has adopted a land use code amendment relating to homeless services uses.

Potential homeless shelter operators will have the option of either seeking a development agreement or a conditional land use permit. The LUCA established how and where a shelter may be permitted but did not select an actual site.

A Good Neighbor Agreement will be required; learn more in Bellevue Blitz Roundup .
